Like many of this trip’s shots, this one still part of my learning curve on my new rangefinder. Composition, focus, exposure, fine tune, shoot… darn there’s my shadow hiding in the corner, oh well, part of the moment I suppose…
Snow, cold, slippery sidewalks, new rangefinder all add up to an odd collection of headless pedestrians. Still learning on how to quick shoot and shoot off the hip with my new toy. Still these capture the feel for the walk down Fifth Ave…

The weather wasn’t great for street photography and I’m still learning how to quick focus my new rangefinder so this trip’s ubiquitous cab shot is a soft hot mess… but its the best of the cab shots this time round so here it is…

Here the famous Andy Warhol Campbell’s Soup Cans (1962) at MOMA.

Here a close up crop of Sturtevant’s, Study for Lichtenstein’s Happy Tears (1967-68), Oil and graphite on canvas, as seen at MOMA

Here Alexander Calder’s Lobster Trap and Fish Tail (1939) at MOMA.
