Planted, not wild. At the Distillery District in Toronto on my Good Friday bike ride.
This beauty is on blocks in the alley between Roxborough and MacPherson. A classic old Olds that has seen better days…
Spring definitely arriving as the first blooms pop through the ground. Here a few from a patch of wild flowers in Ramsden Park.
Another shot from recent walk down the foreboding alleys of Rosedale / Summerhill!
Even the alleys near Rosedale / Summerhill are nice. I like the walk down the alley between Roxborough and MacPherson every morning over to Starbucks. Now that the weather is starting to get warmer I will take my camera more often.
My street runs parallel to the crosstown Canadian Pacific Railway tracks here in Toronto. Right across the street is access to tracks and there are frequent passings. Literally the tracks are 30 m from my front door and run along a raised bed so actually higher than my house. Makes a fine racket and rumbles the foundation, though you get used to it. I’ve never taken my camera up there until now. Will do so some more, just need better light / sky combinations. This day was white cloud cover so getting nothing from the light… still some interesting subject material right out my door.
Be yourself. Don’t copy anybody.
