This is King Edward VII riding in the snow across the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River.
From Wikipedia: This monument was created by Thomas Brock for the 1911 Imperial Durbar, it was originally located at King Edward VII Park (now Netaji Subhash Park) in Delhi, India in 1919. It was removed in 1967, sold in 1968 with assistance from the Canadian High Commissioner to India, and re-installed in Toronto in 1969.
Politics and history aside, this is an impressive piece of art. Its meaning and place a discussion to be had.
